Bass playing outside key map range

Hi Greg,


When I use the Electric bass on Kontakt 5 the bass plays an Octave to low but thats ok I transpose 1 Octave up, but the notes are still played in the same position on Mapping area meaning it plays too low outside of the Key mapping range.

Have I lost you yet.

In other words when you see the notes played on the Kontakt inbuilt keyboard the notes are played too low even though they sound one octave up and it is playing some notes in the non grey areas.

Can you assist me here?:help:

Hi Lionel,

What octave is your middle C set at in your DAW? Kontakt refers to it as C3, though I've noticed some DAWs use other numbers for the octave of middle C.

Not sure as the program plays mainly yamaha styles files.

Can you tell me how to remap to correct octave range
