Just had a look at my mags (SOS, FM and mixmag) and all are 95-99! - does anyone think there are collectors for these old mags?audiojunkie wrote:I haven't subscribed to any paper magazines in almost 10 years......I'm a little behind...

Just started ( about 6 months ago) subscribing to MusicTech - but only because I got a lifetime deal for £11.88 every six months! by the time you take off VAT and delivery - they are basically giving me the magazine for free

Riffi (http://riffi.fi/), click 'Mediatiedot', there's contact info also in english. It emphasizes hardware I suppose, but they have some software related articles as well.
Good luck with the release! I love your synth, don't know if you remember me writing one time guessing that SM will end up being one of my go-to synths, and so it happened!

best synthi mag in germany, a bit focussed on hardware but also nice and regular stories and reviews on synth software.
cheers

in Poland, the biggest one is "Estrada i Studio"
http://www.eis.com.pl
the contact options are here:
http://www.eis.com.pl/virtual/article.php?sid=1062
but honestly I don't know which one is the best maybe just
info@eis.com.pl
There was a time when Polish version of Future Music mag was introduced to the market and ... they failed because "Estrada i Studio" had much longer history and simply the market was too small for two magazines.

When I last moved around six years ago, I had a massive pile of SoS mags, couldn't find anyone to take them so had to dump them... All the articles are up on their site so I guess the physical mags aren't particularly useful. Unless you want to nostalgically look through the ads...simonden wrote:Just had a look at my mags (SOS, FM and mixmag) and all are 95-99! - does anyone think there are collectors for these old mags?
Actually, I had some Music Technology mags too (not Music Tech, the mag that used to be E&MM back in the mid 80s). Hours of fun looking at all the monosynths you could have bought for £50/60 quid back in 86/87....
And ads for Soho Soundhouse, clearing out 303s for £39...
