midi2qwerty16 not working right

Ok so i'm trying to get midi2qwerty to work in fl studio but i cant. The plugin shows up and everything and the GUI pops up as if it works but it does nothing to the midi messages. Like say i set c7 to translate to the "UP" key. It won't do anything. When i trigger c7, FL still recognizes it as c7. Does anyone know why this is happening (or should i say isn't happening)?

I was also wondering which of the controls in the midi2qwerty16 plug should be linked to my midi controller, Any help is greatly appreciated!
