Sorry, saw this only now:
This was done to show the true stereo behave of the reverb. It's basically very easy:
I did set up the reverb as send on a bus. The loop audio track was sent to that bus. The output of the track itself was muted, the bus recieved the loop signal via send exclusively. Then the reverbs input and output knobs, as well as the panning knob of the loop track was automated.
