All,
I'm having a problem with trying to open an H2-Zoom file I converted in Wavewizard in the Wavosaur application. Wavosaur recognizes the converted merged file but when it opens in Wavosaur, the four channels are there but no data. I've done everything in the H2-Zoom tutorial (http://acousmodules.free.fr/tutorial14.htm (http://acousmodules.free.fr/tutorial14.htm)) but no results. Can anyone help me? I've been going over this for over 2 weeks to no avail.

Thanks,
Jr. Pascual

Hi,
I don't know what can be the problem...
I've just verified and it works here as expected.

You can try BWF Manager to merge the files :

You can also download a tryout version of Soundforge 9 where you can do all you want during 30 days.

I know that copy/paste of channels in Wavosaur will be available eventually, but when ???

I think I may have found the problem. I think my files are too large for Wavosaur. The .wav files are all at least 1GB. I had no problems opening the Wavewizard converted files in Audacity & Vegas Pro. But I need to use the H2-Zoo plug-in for further processing and Wavosaur is the only application that I know that will utilize H2-Zoo. Do you know what the maximum file size that Wavosaur accepts? Or any other application that utilizes the H2-Zoo plug-in?

You must certainly have an answer on the Wavosaur forum :

Or any other application that utilizes the H2-Zoo plug-in?
There is the very good Nero Wave Editor which is a part of the Nero suite.
There is also Acoustica PE, but it is far from being free...

and of course Soundforge.

But depending on what you plan to do, you can use some modular software like Audiomulch or Bidule ?
There is a free edition of Usine http://www.sensomusic.com/usine/
and you can also take a close look at the current pre-release version of Reaper http://forum.cockos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20

See the list here : http://acousmodules.free.fr/hosts.htm

Good luck !
