Anyone else seen this issue?

I'm using a white MacBook, 2.2 GHz. Latest version of Bidule.

The problem started when I was going to use four instances with the "multilooper" script. I took out the scripts from their folder and found that Bidule is still crashing as soon as I start the session. So obviously it is the four instances set to four OSC ports that is the cause of the problem. Sync settings for all four are:

1: Master / Host Tempo disabled
2: Tempo / Host tempo enabled
3: Tempo / Host tempo enabled
4: Tempo / Host tempo enabled

I dispute your "obviously"!

Can you send me your bidule file? I seem to be having trouble setting this up myself in Bidule, probably just because I'm so unfamiliar with it.

Thanks. Unfortunately, your bidule file is doing exactly the same as mine - whenever I load it up, all the AL's are taking their settings from one of the presets ('string warmth'), so it's impossible for me to load it up with each AL set to receive OSC, even if that's how they were saved.

Any idea what might be wrong with my Bidule install? I'm using the latest, just downloaded today (0.9677UB).

I see that behavior here as well. But after Bidule has loaded the first preset into the plug-in it goes to the next step and loads the presets that was in use by the plug-in when the Bidule session was saved. But unfortunately the third step now means a total crash landing for Bidule. So I can never go as far as to open anything, or maybe even not move the mouse without releasing the crash syndrome.

With other plug-ins Bidule works fine and is totally stable, though.

Does that mean that I also need your presets in order to load your bidule file?

Any chance of a crash log?

Your post gave me the idea to try taking out my own presets from the folder at "Library/Audio/Presets/Expert Sleepers/Augustus Loop". And then it doesn't crash Bidule any more. Back to rock stable - hurrah!

BTW, I noticed the bundled presets, that you can see from the plug-in's drop-down menu, is not in that OS X folder. So I'm wondering if my issue was that I had put them at the wrong place in OS X? But that doesn't explain your problems.
