Hello,
I'm getting started with Edison and I can't figure out how to start playback in the middle of my (very long) sample. Unless there is a selection, every time I stop/start the playback position jumps to the beginning of the sample. How do you get playback to start in the middle at some spot of your choice?

Okay, it's probably poor form to answer your own question, but I figured out how to do this in Edison and hope I can help others.
In Edison you can change the selection WHILE PLAYBACK IS OCCURING. So just do it that way. Leave playback running, and just move the selection to whatever part you wish to hear. It's a little different from what I'm used to in Wavelab, but it seems to be very effective.
I already like Edison a lot better than Wavelab. It's just a lot more useful for the things I need from a wave editor.
