I sure like this plugin but I'm a PC user who needs a VST. Any move towards VST or any other Ninjam VSTs? Newbie Brad

I don't understand coding enough to understand your directions for using this plugin. I was hoping to just add it to my au components folder and see it pop up in garageband or numerology and somehow make ninjam work but can't figure out how to make anything happen. What am I missing or is it something you really have to be able to code yourself to make it functional?os wrote:Hi,

You should be able to do exactly that. How far have you got? Did you manage to connect to a server even?I was hoping to just add it to my au components folder and see it pop up in garageband or numerology and somehow make ninjam work

I can't find that error message anywhere in the code. Could you check exactly what the error was, or post a screenshot even?

i was getting that error message in the status line at the left hand bottom of ninjam app not in your plugin version which shows up in Numerology as an effect you can put into a group. It took me a while to figure out it was listed under the expert sleepers subcategory of effects but i still don't know how to set up audio i/o to get the sound to come thru when i connect via the plugin. I have had a hard time in the past figuring this i/o stuff in more than one group in Numerology as I purchased augustus loops a few years ago with hopes of controlling multiple versions of it in different groups with an fcb1010 midi control board to do some looping. I got various examples sent to me by Jim Coker that solved some of those problems but could never make head or tails of how you set up i/o. Maybe you could send me an example file showing how to use augustus loops and ninjam plugin together.

Possible bug. When I load the ninjam AU in Live 6.0.10 it crashes pretty frequently. Any warnings/explanations?os wrote:Hi,

I'm aware of one bug, which for me makes it crash after about 15-20 minutes of use. I've never got to the bottom of it. Does that sound like the same thing?
Post a crash log if you can.
