Ok,I hope that i got your attention now!
I need some help with the mix of a song i uploaded on the net.
The mp3 that i posted was converted to a lo-fi bandwidth summed mono version for the dial up users and it sounds completely shit because the guitars and the drums sound out of phase.
Is there a "remedy" for this?
Can any one PLEASE help?
Check it out at:

Wicked. Porn today is usually so drab, and the people look so unhappy having to suck cock for cheeseburgers.

Consider what would happen if everyone chose this way to get attention. Race to the bottom?

Ok look,
i've been trying to get a response to "my problem" since yesterday with 2 different but simiral threats with "normal"
and not "idiotic" thread titles.
Since no one gave a flying f**k(i guess threats that are NOT about amplitube 2 are not that important, right?)i tried the
"idiotic" approach to raise a few heads and hoping that the "kind KVR community" would
focus on the subject and not the title.
Boy was i wrong...
Nevertheless thanx for your responses....

Serious but not very helpful response:
What you need to do is check for mono compatibility while you're mixing down; monitor the recording in mono (however your host facilitates that...) to ensure all your stereo effects etc. aren't causing phase cancellations.
I'm sure a search on 'mono compatibility' (here or google) will get you some much better practical advice.

Hey there Antonis,
I listened to the track and see what you mean but don't know how to solve it.Sounds like someone took the shine off the track.Maybe you can re-master the original with extra highs in the eq to compensate for the loss before you re-convert to mp3.
Dunno ...
Cheers

As Gary says, you probably need to re-mix the track for mono compatibility. You've probably done a great stereo mix which sounds superb but then run it through a conversion/compression process that just squeezes everything into a really small space, so something's got to give, in this case the quality.
Re-Mix the track for mono from scratch, getting it sounding right in mono, then converting. That should sound better.
I know there is still a small need for making stuff dial-up friendly, but these users will have to accept that there will be a reduction in quality.
The sooner they wake up and smell the 21st Century, the better
(ducks for cover!)
Oh, and as for the thread title, you hardly gave your other "serious" thread a chance to get a response. Not everyone here is online 24 hours a day, so you won't always get an immediate response. Be patient and your reward will come
Wax on, wax off !!

Lovesign thanx for your response.
The basic problem about the mono mix(it doent matter if its an mp3 or an uncompressed wav) is that everything that was panned (guitars hard left and right,hi-hat,cympals and toms)
in the stereo mix, sound out of phase.
I was looking of a way to fix this without remixing the track
but maybe there isnt any.
Thanx anyway...
