whole fuckin thing sequenced by hand (piano roll w00t!) in two consecutive all-night sessions, mixed shittily on headphones... sorry about the organ
give this a listen if you like kinda fast, headfuck/melodic progressive rock.
makes extensive use of the free NSKit for drums.
comment/criticize as you see fit, please.

f**k yeah!
Only constructive criticism I can give is even in shitty headphones I can tell you mixed the kick drum in headphones.
Great transitions (thing most lacking in DAW music methinks), great, great leads.
I still have trouble believing your drum programming... I guess you are a drummer, though.

thanks for the words runagate, glad you liked it.
meh, the thing about the NS kit is (at least for me) the kick and snares lack punch/depth, they all sound so hollow and flimsy. I tried compressing, but they merely got louder while still lacking "oomph."
I tried EQ, but i guess you can't boost a frequency that isn't there to begin with. maybe i just need monitors
as for the drum programming, simply a result of too much free time, and a cause of what will probably be carpal tunnels or somesuch repetative stress injury
