Bonjour/Hi everyone.

I searched the forums here but didn't find how 'exactly' can I use those acousmodules (the mac ones of course) in SonicBirth.
When I "open plugin" the .component or .vst, it says :
"The selected file does not appear to be a plugin exported from SonicBirth."
And copying these files in their '/Bibliothèque/Audio/Plug-ins/...' directories doesn't make them appear in the elements list.
Am i missing something ?

I'm running on Max OS X 10.3.9, with QuickTime 7.0.4
and SonicBirth 1.1.1 demo.

Thanks

Hi,

Sonicbirth is not intended to be a host.
The Mac AcousModules are made for being used as plugins in AU and VST hosts.
See the list of campatible hosts at http://acousmodules.free.fr/compatibilites_en.htm

They can't appear in the element list as they are NOT elements but plugins...
However, it is possible to open the AU versions inside the AudioUnit element.
Sonicbirth demo is used only for the engine and has not to be active to use the plugins.

Of course, you can use Sonicbirth to edit the examples which come with it and edit your own plugins...
