How do you make a Fade-in with Audio? (On more than one bar)

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

Hiya,

I am using Cubase SL3, the issue I have is, for example, say I have a 4 bar Audio loop, copied and pasted 4 times.

When I try and create a fade in, for the 4 of them, it only does it for the first one?
If that makes any sense? I have glued them together, but when you double click them, they still come up as seperate parts.

I want it to do the fade in for the WHOLE 4 parts not just 1 bar.
If I highlight the parts, then select Audio>process>FadeIn
They all just do the same! (4 parts with each one fading in!)

I realise this is probably a very basic question, and apologise for my lack of knowledge on this particular technique!

Many thanks in advance for your help...

Sean :)

I have figured it out now, just been studying the manual!

For anyone interested;

Select the 'glued' audio part, then click 'Audio' then 'Bounce Selection'.
