I'm pretty happy with what I got, but I've checked out Podium out of curiosity, and wonder why there isn't much talk of it. Seems like a good host with all the necessities and frequent responses from the coder.
Seems like a Contender to Tracktion.
What's the reason for it not being mentioned?

Podium has got the maturity hidden under the hood you are starting to miss when you're becoming more familiar with Tracktion! So they actually represet different ends of the spectrum! ;-)
"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.

I think part of it is that on initial appearance, Podium can seem quite complex to get started with. Probably chases off a lot of prospective users, even though I hear it can be quite easy to use once you get going with it. That, and the sad truth of economics is that not all good things will catch on.

Yes, Podium is great in all ways.

jens, I'm sure a simple, "I dunno, Podium is awesome" would've been fine. :troll:

It DOES look awesome, mind.
