It is rich in settings with the possibility of layering, IR convolution import.

gee this looks great, what a shame it is abandoned for the moment at least.

It was great but also very complex

With an IA like synplan 2, cycle would have been great.
I sincerely hope that this developer finds the time to devote himself to the cycle.
peace and love for all.

How about Loom II?

Hi, Loom 2 good but somewhat weird to program, also no precise control over the partials like for example the Vertigo (you can draw harmonics there)

Any luck in finding the one you prefer? I just realized that you were the one who recently gave me a tip regarding Reason Rack and Parsec 2.

What do you think of (hypothetically because I haven't tried it) using PlugData and finding what they call a 'patch' or maybe 'instrument' for it-- both additive of course? Also, have you looked in the free Reaktor Library for another besides Razor? If one had Reaktor, could they simply copy Razor's innards over?

I got it from Thomann a few years ago for 5 euro!

How do you like it? I just got it and, given that, was wondering if it's still worth bothering with Parsec/Reason Rack.

I’ve tested all the additive synths I could, including Razor, Syne, Pigment, Lazerbass, Loom 2… and Harmor is head and shoulders above the competition. If you’re a non-FL mac user like me, workflow is tedious until VST3/AU finally gets released… but still it’s worth the hassle. I went for the cheapest FL edition and a separate Harmor license.
Until Zebra 3 and its +1000 partials rendering engine is released, Harmor’s your best bet.

Harmor is good (and I did the same as you with the FL license) but I still prefer Alchemy overall as an additive synth.

Loom is fun, but it's not as deep or doesn't give you as many options to manipulate the partials.

Can Alchemy do all the gloriously dynamic partial mangling Harmor (or to a lesser extent, Razor / Lazerbass) can ?
