Zebra 2 is all over every show/ movie I ever scored. Definitely in lots of releases that I produced/ co-wrote. I use repro pretty often as well. I also run stuff through zebrify and mfm while doing sound design.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Ah_Dziz,
Feel free to tell me about your more well known shows/movies, and the music you did for them.

just a quick draft - was just happy having a bit of time after work with DIVA (all sounds - besides drums - are from DIVA. No additional FX just a limiter and some EQuing on the Master Bus):

Hi, I like the Diva tones and song flow. On the double-reed and synth leads, it sounds like you have a pitchbend wheel that's not springloaded, and either the leads or the rythym track got bumped just a wii bit out of tune?
Cheers

I put 2 songs in my music website, though I think the song on top, "It Is Over" would interest you the most since it has Repro-5 synth, and a non-u-he synth, and Presswerk compression on the vocals and drums. Please tell me how you like the music, how it can be improved, and I can return the favor if you wish. Here is my link:

'It's Over: Nice song construction, never an empty wait for the next part. The drums are punchy without stealing the show, and the chromatic metallic pluk at the end (and earlier in the song) is fresh air! I'd like the synth solo about 5% louder, and the powerful bassline 5% quieter, enhancing the solo without deprecating the foundation. Lots of transitions throughout, each with great timing and flow. And the ending climbing and slowing to match the pitch as the cymbal fades!

glokraw,
Thank you for listening and replying, I appreciate it! I am now listening to your song "The First Time I Saw The Sky" (strangley enough, the mother in the video photo looks very similar to someone I know). Your song is pleasant and relaxing, which is quite nice.

Generally quiet KVR lurker poking my head in...
So last year I won a "treasure hunt" run by Luftrum; the prize was lifetime access to the soundsets at the Luftrum store, including several for u-he synths. I started up a project to create some "demo" tracks in several genres, with everything applicable to me at the time - including Zebra 2 / HZ. I finished the project last week (60 tracks total over 4 charity albums), and thought I would compile the 16 Zebra-specific tracks to link to here:
https://www.audius.co/peter_gagliardi/p ... bra-119236
Every track is Zebra 2 or HZ only, with the following possible exceptions:
- Stock DAW drums
- BBC SO Discover percussion
- Stock EQ and Limiter on the Master Bus
These tracks, spanning my hopefully-passable take on 4 genres (Synthwave, Psychill, Cinematic, Ambient), are yet another testament to how versatile Zebra is.
Note 1: soundset presets were not tweaked, other than Mod Wheel/Aftertouch/XY automation.
Note 2: I use Audius solely because it is free for unlimited uploads, and I am way beyond Soundcloud's 2 free hours.

Lots of moods present in your releases here, and cool that you showcase how you've used your winnings. My favorite is 'A Burst Of Hyper Assimilations'. Also cool that you find a good place to host music without the sometimes rather pointless restrictions. I would think someone having released more than two hours at soundcloud would trigger some type of honorable mention, without just generating a billing cycle. I also like the energy in 'Artifact Hunter II', and the general use of dissonance in the songs.
Some of the percussion bursts in 'A Burst Of Hyper Assimilations' seem to have too much going on, simpler and more distinctive might be worth an experiment,
and could happen without losing the energy.
Cheers

Here's some peaceful low blood pressure music starring Repro 5. Keep the volume low, and keep working hard....or start snoozing at break time
