Philthy is pretty good , phutura is not a reaktor ensemble unless he ported it to reaktor , but it's not in the user library

You're right it's not in the user library. However there's a reaktor version of phutura on his website. I think the VSTi version was discontinued.

It's very close. There's a slight difference in the envelopes. Which one is the Roland?

First Reaktor , then roland cloud
There is just a tiny bit of difference in the resonance and yes the envelopes too
It just shows that the included core filters and blep osc's in reaktor are top notch

Hey Guys

Just letting you know that you can now download a collection of 8 demo blocks, selected from the toybox packs:

Synth Bundle
  • Piano Roll - A powerful fully featured DAW-style piano-roll with 2 automation lanes and controls for warping and twisting the sequence in realtime.
  • FM Synth - A flexible 4 operator FM synth with editable morphing algorithms and high quality modeled filters and oscillators.
Designers Pack
  • Multi-Breakpoint Oscillator - The oscillator’s waveform can be edited and morphed. The 8 different warp modes, 3 FM modes and high quality oscillator sync with oversampling allow for rich complex timbres without aliasing.
  • Ramps - Based on 1 half of a popular Eurorack hardware module used for generating ramp signals. This block features very a high quality oversampled engine and detailed modelling; a real swiss army knife.
Floor Shakers Pack
  • Wavetable - A very powerful wavetable based oscillator with 7 stacked voices for thick unison or chord stacks.
  • Multi-Breakpoint Envelope - Versatile envelope generator, as with all the blocks it can be run at audio rates.
Sampling Pack
  • Granular Sampler - A powerful sampler granular engine for mangling samples recorded from it’s input.
  • Gate Repeat - Triggers streams of gate signals for 'beat-repeat' effects.
In 'demo mode' the blocks are fully functional, but can only be used for 30 minutes at a time.

I compared Pulsecraft's ChroJupiter to the new Tal J-8 and Arturia Jupiter. To see how it fares compared to commercial software. It's a decent effort but not quite there yet especially the way envelopes behave.

We just added the Vintage Verb block to the free Toybox User Blocks Pack.

This block is perfect for gritty, textured vintage reverb tones. The block makes use of super high quality resampling algorithms and a hybrid convolution / algorithmic engine, with modelled saturation to authentically simulate the vintage digital hardware.

The block features 4 sets of 8 carefully designed early reflection patterns. 46 presets are available from the block's 'options' page.

We are also running a Christmas Sale with 20% off all packs and bundles (the new Nano Pack is still available at the into price of $45).

Apart from michael hetrick's amazing euroreakt modules , that will be the only third party development we'll ever see
Would you rather prefer coding in an optimised language like c++ or reaktor core ?
Just to quote myself
We're now almost 2 years since the release of racks and new cabling system .
Remember when N.I. announced that well known eurorack developers would join the new rack standard ?
I haven't seen anything till now
This is not meant to discredit toybox's amazing work .

I think Toybox + EuroReakt + tons of freebies are well enough for everyone's needs. We can only hope that boutique developers like Make Noise jump the train with something entirely out there.

What I really miss is custom host dedicated to Blocks, with graphical module browser, cathegory-based search and streamlined GUI instead of this oldschool file browser. Also, internal Reaktor features can be turned off altogether - they only clutter interface but are not useful from Blocks' user point of view.

Yeah, Blocks are great, Toybox and Euroreakt as well. But the botched rollout and overall confusing product management seems to have scared away third party developers. All the exciting stuff seems to be happening over at Max (for Live) and VCV Rack.

It’s a shame, really.

That being said, looking forward to your SpaceMaster+ Block, I hope it ends up in the UL @RobGee :)

Yes! The nanoblock series from Toybox need something like this.
Maybe it´s possible inside the rack to create such a GUI folder where you can drag and drop Modules.

My experience with Reaktor:

-boot up
-get warning message
-nothing installed
-close reaktor

Does it not even have sample or demo sounds? I understand if they are trying to save space, give control to the user, or whatever, but every plugin should have a sample sound, even if it is a single sine wave and nothing more, just so you know you have the core.

It has a whole library of ensembles included; instruments, effects, blocks and racks. Just drag one in from the browser the left.

Id rather it didn't load a default file, I'd be loading something else 99.9999% of the time anyway.
