In the end, you've got to do what is best for you and your family and your business. It's a nice idea, and I would love to see something like this on Linux, but I'm realistic enough to recognize that if it doesn't pay, then it is indeed a hobby and a time and money pit. I wish you the best regardless of what you choose. :)
C/R, dongles & other intrusive copy protection equals less-control & more-hassle for consumers. Company gone-can’t authorize. Limit to # of auths. Instability-ie PACE. Forced internet auths. THE HONEST ARE HASSLED, NOT THE PIRATES.
