When I see this, my first thought is that--while your DAW may be been set to 4/4--your piece may compositionally be in 12/8 time. It's easy to compose a 12/8 piece into 4/4...but you can readily wind up with three-measure phrases as a result.

This was always one of me fave folkie wanker type things in 3/4, 6/8 or whatever it is. Some nice key changes and stuff too, and an alternate tuning or two. Touch of the Blur ripoff I'll wager.. :hihi:

Sorry, mate. It want me to log in, and I do not have a spotify account. Could you make it accessible to all somehow?

First time I heard this, it made my day. Is it a rhythm? Is it a groove? No it is S & L! Wtf is that? 'Stumble and Limb', where have you been recently? Had a flashback to all my worst hangovers all through the session. Brilliant. Who can resist music with injected humor? :tu:

Loved it. Both waltzy and amby without tipping too much to either side. I like the balance. The melodic minimalism. The open spaces. The mood. Chilly. Calm. Lovely.

Wonderful ripp off in that case. You had my attention when the voice got distorted to kick back in clean right after. Though my speakers were messing with me :hihi: Lovely :tu:

I have no hope of keeping up with it if you can't  This is an Australian band that I recently got into in the past year named Plini. I definitely recommend their album "Handmade Cities."

Thanks TribeOfHǫfuð, this is one of those tracks from the past I can still enjoy. There's some changes in use of stereo, piano dynamics, transitions, etc… that I would fix if I were working on this today. But, it is also a reminder that I don't have to make everything a big mess of a production like I've been doing recently…even though It's fun…for me anyway.

I wish. This song, "Cascade" is just one of those songs that really blows me away. There's so many moments where I'm just like wow!
