Just create a send track, put an eq with low-cut and add any chorus plugin you like. Not so hard...

Didn't know about DDMF version. Gave it a try now and yes. I had the Dimension D plugin when I used to own a UAD card and that was one plugin I missed when I sold the card years ago. I was excited when Arturia released their version but dissapointed when I tried it. It didn't sound like a Dimension D. More like a regular chorus.

Uhbik-C is the compressor that is only a part of the not-yet-released V2 bundle, isn't it?
UPDATE: Uhbik-F (chorus/flanger) and Uhbik-P (phaser) both have a switch called "bass sanctuary" that seem to carve out space for the low end. There are 3 settings: low, mid, and high. I don't know what frequencies they represent specifically.
Yeah, I had downloaded it to test. Sounds great. As far as I can tell it doesn't split the bands but it does filter the effected audio and you can use a mix control.

the old free version may not work boots successfully on new generations of computers, instruments, and hardware

Ironically, this may be the closest to working as a bass chorus. Ironic because I am not inclined to have anything to do with Melda. That's just me, though. There no reason any other bassist should care about that. Thanks for the suggestion!AGIGA wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 5:12 pm Try MChorusMB from Melda Productions..

If you don't like Melda maybe the free HY-MBMFX from HY-Plugins might do the job:pough wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 7:54 pmIronically, this may be the closest to working as a bass chorus. Ooh, that does look like it would be a perfect bass chorus (plus so much more). Downloaded free version. Tested. This plugin makes it very easy to make a proper bass chorus!AGIGA wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 8:28 pm If you don't like Melda maybe the free HY-MBMFX from HY-Plugins might do the job:

UVI Thorus is my favourite chorus plugin and it has an adjustable low end filter.

That looks awesome and is even on sale (for 2 more days). If I didn't have a strict no-iLok policy I would be very interested. Bassists without my sordid history involving iLok should definitely check it out.
The way it handles the low end is fantastic. Not only can you easily and visually carve out space for the bottom end, you can also boost the bottom end. (And more.)

colour copy can do a nice chorus, lots of delay plugins can with modulation of delay time. i think i remember bx chorus is good on bass
lots of good free choruses on plugin boutique -multiply, azurite, kilohearts, magic switch, tal, blue cat
any chorus plugin can sound good sometimes, but its hard to find a perfect chorus, arturia juno 60 is the closest for me
its also worth trying frequency shifters like psp hertzrider, unison detuning plugins like pitchmonster, and any flanger is also pretty much a chorus, id just turn down the feedback and mess with the other settings, i find super short delay times with feedback tends to be what makes it sound flangey
or if you have some modular vst (maybe try the free voltage modular) you could experiment with making customised chorus ensembles with multiple chorus/delays and lfos etc, maybe combining it with distortion

Oh duh Uhbik-F indeed. I don’t know the frequency ranges but they sound might fine.

Using kilohearts multipass allows for custom FX chains, and I frequently use it for high-passed chorus/ensemble FX.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

What DAW are you using? I use Bitwig which has a multiband crossover that hosts any plugin, so I just drop in any chorus plugin (I use Arturia Jun 60 the most).
