yesterday, i have been re-exposed to coldplay's song "yellow". i wish i can write melodies and lyrics like that someday. but right now, I'm just gonna try to use the word yellow in a game of speed scrabble.

yesterday, i revisited a youtube clip from the movie "2001: a space oddysey" and it was about the deactivation of hal, an artificial intelligence computer that can actually "think".
anyways, it occured to me that that scene must be the same scene that one member (or more) of the band new order must have seen.
i am guessing that that member is peter hook. maybe it was peter alone who wrote the song "murder". will google that later. i wish i could someday write a song like that.
