U-he Zebra 2 fails validation and "couldn't be opened" in Logic Pro

A little extra info: I reverted to the 2.8.0 zebra release, and it works fine. NKS issue maybe? 2.9.x is certainly not working in anything i have but at least now i can get around it for the weekend sessions...

Sounds like a permission issue to me, so you'd probably just need to run the installer again. Could be something else as well.

running M1 Pro on 12.6.3 and it validates / runs fine.

also was running fine on my previous 13" M1.
i don't use NKS tho, nor do i install NKS content.

Have you been able to get Zebra2 2.9.3 validated by now?

I'm having what looks like similar/same problem with Logic Pro 11 and Zebra2 (M3 Max)

Check permissions. Go to system, preferences, security & privacy. Make sure logic has full disk access. Check any other security prompts if there are any. Else reinstall the plugin.

I am running z2 and hive on m1 notebook and m2studio max without issue

Make sure to update to the latest Zebra Legacy version 2.9.3.
If that doesn't help, contact our support.
