Is there a special reason why many presets do have a "@" instead of "a" in preset names?
This makes searching for patches more difficult.
i dont' have that with the offical RAM and ROM
i have the official RAM and ROM and I see the @ in about 9 preset names in the RAM Bank A. I didn't notice any in RAM Bank B, nor in the first few ROM Banks.

I just assumed that was the way the presets were named. Is this not correct?

The midi files are supported with the B and C emulations. So I assumed the A emulation would also use them. I couldn't find anything in the documentation to suggest anything special for the A.

you're referring to TI ROM-D ?
according to the patch list, page 169 (available in the installer, v5.1.7.00) it says:
"Patches by Matt Picone (M@)"

seems to be "M@" (like in the B/C) as well as "@" alone

Examples: TI2-Rom-X M@trix1000, Bellt@ble

M@trix1000 - always loved this patch!

In my case the roms are .bin files while the preset banks are .mid files

osTIrus: Small Typo in Filter Section: CUTTOFF LINK should be CUTOFF LINK.

Weird. None of the preset in ROM A/B/C/D start with @

Post

It’s just particular ‘signatures’ of certain sound designers

Check out Sasha’s Involver bank if you want to see weird preset naming

There appears to be no way to init this vst, is that right?

edit: nevermind thanks I saw it is on one of the banks.
If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. HOW CAN YOU HAVE ANY PUDDING IF YOU DON'T EAT YER MEAT!?

Like I said, a function

I have been playing with the new Microwave XT emulation, it’s only in Alpha (so you need to be a donator to try it) but it’s very nice indeed.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

What an utterly pointless distinction.
