New EQs in 5.2: What's exactly Boost doing versus Attenuate in Sculpt at which frequencies?

Though Sculpt shows a miniature response curve at bottom right side, I would recommend to analyse the beahvior yourself. It will give you more detailled insights.

The following screenshot shows the settings of Sculpt and the response it get's you.
So with a setting fo 60 Hz, boost is more or less a low shelf boost at 60 Hz whereas attenuate seems like a low shelf dip at around 1khz ... added together they give you the shape in the picture. Feel free to experiment on your own. It's pretty interesting for instance to watch how boost behaves for different settings ... Have fun analyzing.
