The new 1.3.3 version is a maintenance release and includes:
  • Fixed messy spectrum view in some circumstances
  • Fixed small memory leak
  • Fixed hidden Q slider value for very low gain level

Hi Maso, Saverio

Total EQ is a very nice eq in so many ways, but I'm finding it heavy on CPU in Logic (latest) and Ventura 13.6.6 on Mac mini M2Pro chip. Is this expected?

Hi,

thanks for your message;
did you check the CPU load in the activity monitor? In our tests, it seems quite close to other similar plugins.
May I also ask what's your sample rate and buffer size?

Let me know and do not forget to submit a support request.

Hi Maso

Sorry for the very late reply.

The session is at 44.1K with a 128 sample buffer, so it's not taxing the system.
However, I've discovered that it only behaves like this only in this particular session.
In other sessions I've tried it with later it behaves nicely as you described.

I've had a similar problem with other plugins in certain projects.
I think it may be a Logic thing. Total EQ is innocent :)

Thanks for your concern and congratulations on another great plugin.

Cheers

Rick
