Use Reaper for many and have customized it to my needs and likes, other daws might works as well, some seem to be visually too distracted, not even tempted to try other daws. I know Pro Tools, Harrison Mixbus 32c and Cubase, they are nice, too, but not as customizable as Reaper. ReaComp and ReaEq get a very lot of use

I've worked with Logic, Ableton, Studio One and Mixbus and stayed with Bitwig and Reaper. Bitwig is great for experimenting and jamming while Reaper is excellent for everything else. I love Reaper for the stability, low requirements, "weekly" updates, flexibility and the attractive and very fair licensing/pricing. If i had to choose a DAW for the rest of my life, i would vote for Reaper.
