One Synth Challenge #181: Surge (Voting Started!)

Happy anniversary month to OSC and to DoctorBob's unbroken record of submissions!

I've done a quick skim through this month's and last month's OSC discussions and haven't seen any mention of the Soundcloud problems that plagued the previous month (with messages disappearing, etc.) Is it safe to assume that their algorithm has since been fixed?

(Asking because I have an idea for this month's OSC, and I've used Surge and Surge XT before, but the days left are dwindling, and the real world is not cooperating in regard to making time available to create music!)

I'm trying to use the Alternate modulator to switch the Scene pan left or right each time i play a note, but without any result.
Maybe i've not understood what it is?
Is it possible?
It was the rotary effect: it puts everything in the center, making the pan slider having no effect. Is it normal?

12 instances of Surge XT (7 just for the drums), with Surge XT Effects on the drums, TDR Nova on the kick and the bass, and the good ol' TLs Maximizer on the master channel.

The song is from an idea i had lying around from about a year, and Surge got me the inspiration to finish it.

I'm forced to "close" it as i don't have more free time, so i've not got a chance to listen it on the car (my usual mixing testbench): i hope it doesn't sound too bad.

Comments and critics are very very welcome, as always.

It was the rotary effect: it puts everything in the center, making the pan slider having no effect. Is it normal?

Yes the rotary effect - like a Leslie speaker - is a mono type thing (it collapses the input into a mono signal, splits it into frequency bands, and Doppler shifts some of the bands into the stereo field to make the rotary effect roughly. It does some other stuff too).
