If you ever used real cassette corders you know that wow and flutter are something you don't wan tin your sound while you want to have the frequency response and saturation characteristics of tape. And then BTW in a good working recorder like the Tascam I had wow and flutter are very low, the only reason I see to add them is to create a special effect which has nothing to do with tape emulation IMHO
