There is no such limitation, however if several people are using the software they all should get a license. :-)

When this is used in audio compression mode over high speed internet does it transfer the lossless high quality audio stream behind the scenes or does that have to be managed manually?

Lossless compression already has a pretty good compression ratio and should be enough in most cases. If you use lossy compression (which is really good quality, it's not mp3 unless maybe with the lowest setting!), the full audio stream is not managed automatically for you. You can however record each "track" locally, so it is possible to keep it for a remix later.

It is actually a good practice to record individual streams locally too if the communication is not very good, to make sure that you have a backup of the full content without any dropouts in case some packets get lost...

Thanks for the response. I have the demo installed and will work with it for a bit. Much appreciated.

Is Fader Hub the right plugin to have 4 headphone+micro connected to a PC and be able to mix them inside Ableton ?
or another product like Connector is better suited ?
I don't know how to do it, any help appreciated

Why would you need a plug-in to do such a mix inside Ableton (it already has multi-input mixing capabilities)? Fader Hub can exactly do that as an application. When used as a plug-in, it is limited to 4 mono inputs (2 main inputs + 2 side chain inputs).
