Can't get strum to work on evolution rock 12

midi data gets triggered when chords set to disabled. but if set to anything else no midi input and the stum patterns don't get triggered.

Are you holding any chords in the main playing range? When using any of the chord modes, the main playing range is muted, but gets used for selecting which chords to actually strum via the patterns or single strum keys.
