Does anyone know of any kind of software flag available within the Blue Cat Remote Control to signify that a VST panel has been opened within a DAW?

I have a total of 33 Blue Cat VST Compressor Gain Reduction Meters to drive from external MIDI and I'm worried about whether my DAW (Cakewalk) will be able to cope with the required MIDI data throughput.

So the point being ... if I can detect when a VST panel is opened/closed, then I only need to feed the Gain reduction Meter data for those compressors which are open for use by the user.

Any and all suggestions welcomed!

There is unfortunately no way to know from a plug-in which panels have been opened. I don't think you may however have any problem with Cakewalk's MIDI throughput: that's not a lot of data at all. If you really encounter any MIDI slowdown, you can change the output data rate of the compressors (it is in the global settings).
