Pitched down sample slows down?

Hello, I have a sample in which there's a rhythmic filter modulation.
When I bring it to a Speedrum pad and pitch it down the modulation slows down as well.

I thought that the pitch would go down but the "speed" of the sample stayed the same.
This happens both using the pad and layer pitch control, regardless of how the layers "stretch" is set.

Windows 10, Speedrum full 1.5.0 x64, REAPER 6.79.

Am I missing something?

"Normal" pitch will change the length of the sample.
If you want the length of the sample to remain the same, then use Pitch FL, pitch that use stretching.
