This one on Tracks and Templates.. It's a little long, but, not my fault. Blame that on Atilla and so many cool things in RC!

The track templates has important work arounds, so.. might be useful for you..

The topics covered and I have chapter markers in the video are:

Tracks and Usage
CC Controllers and Settings
Composite Tracks
Audio Tracks
Master Track Voicings
Folder Tracks
Default Compositions
Track Templates
Project Templates

I'm trying to use the Master Track to generate chords like in your video. However, the slider is not enabled for me. It just shows [1 Number of chords 32] What is the secret? How can I fix that?

Post

I figure it out. I had the "Keep harmonic rhythm" enabled. I turned that off and then I could change the number of chords.

So, the next one up is part 1 of Progressions, which in all, is a two part series. In the first part, I give an intro to RC progressions, how to build chord rules, how to build modal rules, how to include/exclude chord notes, creating rules fast and how to debug the rules. I cover the chord selector, how to use the chord selector with chords and slash chords, and what it doesn't work with, when used with phrases.

I think after these last two videos, if you have watched the others, then this should make you a power user.. ;)

03:58 Copy and Paste

Hey all!

This video is really designed for the newer users on how to use the variations in RC. I show a couple that I use a lot just to give an idea on what to do. I also talk about things like, order, polyphony and combining variations for different affects..

You use it almost all the time, but, never really noticed... I am talking about the Rhythm Generator. Yes, there is a Rhythm Generator, but, it is not listed as a generator in the browser. However, in this video, I show you how to expose the generator as a phrase and edit it like a phrase, just like any other generator. Just another way of bringing more power to your music.. ;)
