There's a demo piece, on the Mellotron V product page, called Love Moments. It's based on the 10cc classic. By someone called Paul Schilling.
Did this piece use only presets or Mellotron V sounds? If so, what was used in the recreation of that iconic vocal sound from the original?

Used a few different Mellotron V presets.
You need about 16 simultaneous semitones in your DAW, almost an octave and a half. The trick is to automate the faders to “play” the notes…just like they did on the original, except they did it in real time, manually throwing the mixer faders
