Not sure if it is of any interest to people in this forum, but I am building a hybrid piano (digital with acoustic action). You can read more about it at https://pianoclack.com/forum/d/170-buil ... he-cabinet (hope that's ok to link a different forum, apologies if it isn't) and/or
watch a short video about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_OvAICXukQ

What will you be using for the sound source?
Pianoteq?
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

I haven't decided yet (I don't own any virtual pianos at the moment), but PTQ is a serious contender.

Good work. Took me 3 months on my 100% DIY organ in 1975. 12 nos transistor type multivibrator master oscillators, 24 nos TTL 749x for the dividers, 2 x 61 nos silver plated switches and busbars. Zener pulse generator driving a 555 monostable for that bell sound and ADSR. Transistor twin T filter waa waa. Each key had 3 transistors as switches to mix octaves, some 741s for vibrato and gate effect oscillators. ... Wooden keys cut from single plank, brass springs, You remind me too much of those days. Thank you.
I can understand your joy of doing it. Regards.
