System B now contains ALL none free modules!!)
SoloRack v2.1 has been released. This update brings 3 new utility modules, 5 free and open source modules based on Mutable Instruments™ hardware. These are ported/forked from VCV™ Audible Instruments source code, now released as a SoloRack plugin under the name "Shreds & Charades", with a few optimizations and modifications here and there and a new fresh UI.

- Support for the new SoloRack SDK to allow 3rd party modules. (ie. SoloRack plugins)
- System B now includes all payed modules!!. (Existing none System B module owners can ask for a refund here)
- Added SD07 MIDI Filter
- Added SD08 MIDI Monitor
- Added S701 Shift/Reset Clock Divider.
- SE20 Limit switch can now limit morphing. Not just randomization. (Thanks Bastian for the tip
- S321 feed back switch now has "Off" option to completely turn off feedback limiting. This will allow very high feedback
- Fixed support for sending and receiving SysEx messages.
- Fixed problems in clock syncing in the S318 Tracker Mod Player
- A few improvements to the polyphony system.
SoloRack SDK
If your into coding, now you can make your own modules using the new SoloRack SDK!! Details here:

API Documentation: http://www.solostuff.net/wp-content/upl ... -v0.11.pdf
Note: No need for a license to use the SDK. You can create any number of modules you want and use them freely.
Best regards,
Ammar

That's great!!! Any plan for a VST3 version?
I would like to take a look at the SDK to see if i can code a module that take a polyphonic voice stream and introduce some random irregularities both continuous and hold when gated just to give some "analog" feel to the patches. Do you think is it possible? Thanks for your great effort and work on SoloRack!

Thanks lalo
VST3 support would be a substantial move because VST3 is almost completely incompatible with VST2. Haven't decided yet. But it will take time.
For your idea, Mono modules can take the mix out of poly modules and do things with. There is also another way to let a poly module take the mix out of a poly module where this mix is sent to the FIRST voice to process it. Thats actually how the sampler in works.
ps. If your aim is to randomize the parameters in the voices, thats still not supported, but it's possible in future.

On that. Actually, you can access the parameters of individual voices in code. But when the user changes a parameter, all voices will be set to the same new value.

Tip: the Chotiyon (Braids) and Riga (Rings) modules by default run at the same sampling rate as in hardware. 96Khz for Chotiyon and 48Khz for Riga. If you press the low CPU button, those modules will run at whatever the oversampling rate of SoloRack (or DAW rate with no oversampling). Bypassing SR conversion.
So low CPU here doesn't necessarily indicate high aliasing. In fact, it's some times the opposite, when you use oversampling, aliasing will go lower if you press the low CPU button.
Baadalon (clouds) also has a low CPU option as the last option in the quality button.

Bug fixed in Shreds & Charades that prevents one of the modules (Shaakaon) from saving it's presets properly. Updated link in the first post.
