Bassline 101 odd midi learn behaviour

I like to assign a slider on my controller to control resonance and another to control cutoff. After learning these parameters the slider controlling resonance switches to controlling envelope amount when I switch presets while the first one I assigned, cutoff, retains the parameters I've assigned.

I have tried clearing all midi before learning them first and it made no difference. I have also tried the same thing with UN-no-lx and it works as intended. I am using the most recent Linux versions of both plugins from the Tal site. The same behaviour was present in the windows version run under wine as well as previous versions of the plugin. Hardware is an Akai mpk261 running in Reaper.

Any help?
