Hello,
This is my first topic, thank you all for kind help.
I am doeing theoretical preparations for a project of MIDI controller with motorized knobs mostly to control plugins in a DAW ( third party if that matters ). I am using Studio One at this moment but I can change it if nessessary.
Is it possible to achieve that when open a plugin in a DAW, or by bringing it into focus, plugin sends out values of all its parameters ( current knob positions ) as CC message to the host or directly out to the external MIDI interface ?
I would use this information for comparison and manipulation of the motor.
If this has been covered somewhere, please post a link.
Best
Robert

I'm curious to know why you would use motorized knobs rather than endless rotaries with LEDs. I get why motorized faders are useful ...
