I thought my chair was battered, seems some get more action than most !!!
But the mesh ones do seem popular in offices, and I do spend a lot of time sat at this desk at the PC, so I do need to protect my back better, we all should, lower back problems are common place with ppl sat at a desk for hours. There'd be no chance me getting you all to Pilates classes, even though they'd help. And before you say it, yes I do go
I'll have to shop around, but the point that one glove wont fit all is definitely the case here.

the Hermann Miller Sayl that I posted is pretty good and not that expensive as far as quality chairs go. I dont do Pilates - I do taichi - and teach it as well. Took it up after terrible lower back spasms that were so bad I lost the use of my legs for a few hours when i had them. The physio said there was no long term cure for the muscle damage but.... not true - taichi fixed it a treat. I have seen fantstic improvement in people with rheumatoid arthritis, bent double etc, become much more flexible and mobile after taking up taichi (no miracels, they had to put in regular effort over maybe 12months, but nothing had worked before)LeVzi wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 6:49 am I thought my chair was battered, seems some get more action than most !!!

Ikea Markus:
Very comfortable, but feels unstable when I lay back far. Maybe I'll need to fix the screws, or is it really like that?
At work I've got this and it's perfect:
California Access Apache

Ive never done Tai Chi, tbh, so cannot comment on that, but I have done plenty of Pilates, and well Pilates is based around the spine, so its all about keeping the posture correct and the spine flexible and healthy. tbh I only started doing Pilates after taking up powerlifting, but its keeping my back well for being stuck in a chair toofairlyclose wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:41 amthe Hermann Miller Sayl that I posted is pretty good and not that expensive as far as quality chairs go.
