Here you goquietzone wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:12 amThanks for the info! Will be upgrading during this saleLoveEnigma18 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:35 amHistorically speaking, Komplete 13 should be out in September/October 2020. If you have the money, better upgrade now, because Komplete 13 won't be 50% off until June/July 2021.

PB's reply: In the event that you purchase Scaler and wish to transfer/sell your licence to someone else, we can assist you with this free of charge.LoveEnigma18 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:41 amI have sent an email to PB support on behalf of all interested. Will get back once I hear back from them.quietzone wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:03 amI believe you can transfer Plugin Boutique licenses to another Plugin Boutique account without issue. Confirm it with PB support, but I'm pretty sure it's not NFR.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:30 amPlugin Boutique are UK based so should in theory comply with the EU law about software resale rights.
So, it's not NFR. One step closer to buying I guess...

Just buy it It's the cheapest it has been in a year (last BF it was $10 more), I've had it on my wishlist for ages and it's the first time it's gone on a reasonable sale and with Scaler 2 coming in Jan I'd imagine the upgrade path will be worth the purchase

I hope it will be useful enough and that I can forget Captain Chords. Can't spend much on these tools. But I think Scaler 2 upgrade coming soon makes it more interesting and positive to go for Scaler. Time to demo Scaler and a few other plugins tonight.

Damn, I am suddenly attracted to UVI soundbanks. They have dropped a second soundbank in this month. $49 intro price.

The update for the one that's in Vintage Legends (in VV1 and VV2) looks as though includes this v1.5 update - just in case anyone who already has VV2 gets overexcited and tries to buy this separately.

I have a Komplete 9 ultimate and looking for an update. Looks like the update pricing is available for owners of Komplete Ultimate 8-11. I am thinking of waiting till the 50% off on update is available on Komplete 13 Ultimate assuming the update pricing then would apply to owners of Komplete ultimate 9-12. My concern is, what if my assumption is not true ? should i just buy this time ? anyone else on the same boat as me ?

The update for Komplete Standard goes back all the way to v2. The Ultimate starts at 8 because that was the first time they offered that as a package. I'm not ruling out the idea that they might decide to follow Steinberg into making update pricing based on how old the product you own is, but they've shown no signs of it so far.

I notice a lot of duplication with the same deal posted by the same person in both deal threads.
I suggest people only post in one deal thread and especially at this time of year as it's a busy time.
If there's a deal in the NO CHAT thread that I wish to discuss, I start the reply in the NO CHAT thread including any quotes and then cut and paste it to the other deal thread.

My suggestion would be to update to K12U now. K13U will not come until next year and 50% off a year after that. There's a lot of value and so much good stuff when you update from K9U to K12U. As of worrying about K8U getting removed from the update inclusion, don't worry, that's not gonna happen.karthikr03 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 4:07 pm I have a Komplete 9 ultimate and looking for an update. Just as info, in Trax there is broken feature (does nothing), this is the "Error" slider in the Remix section. A bunch years ago i reported to support about this problem, and they confirm this, but all still the same (and next mails were simply ignored).fairlyclose wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 5:37 am is this https://www.jrrshop.com/ircam-tools-tra ... ad-license
the same as this https://www.flux.audio/project/ircam-trax-v3/
and are there any demo videos anywhere of all of these products?
half price at the moment (JRRShop is cheapest) but without being able to see videos of the processing tools is a bit difficult to justify. Have tried a demo of Trax and it is very very good at what it does - very specialised but very good.
Beside that, during use, couple times observed various freezes, especially by use subplugins of this bundle (Cs and Sf).
In principle, an interesting thing, and ok hell with them freezes - let's allow this down due the complexity of the algorithms, but presence of feature that does nothing, and ignoring this, for the money (and given the scientific advancement of the firm) i think this is unacceptable and not serious, tbh after this experience my interest to purchasing of any other IRCAM (Flux) products is faded.
Though i like their reverb (pretty stable and buggy-free it seems) and granular stuff.
