I was told elsewhere that my piece draws on elements from the renaissance composer, Palestrina.
Though not melody-wise, more in the harmony.
Regardsless of the palestrina-style or not, what's your opinion on it?

Palestrina was a pretty important name. I know my Da played him on his harpsichords. I couldn't name any of his work tho. Therefore, I also can't say if you sound like him. Who cares if you do tho as he is quite seriously dead.
I like it pretty well though. Sure, I'm rarely sitting down to listen to Choral or even Orchestral works. But as an interlude or part of a Prog Record, I'd think it was cool. As a whole piece, I would prefer a stronger "hook" in the melody - but that is on one listen.
