Not the most realistic sounding orchestra out there but you did a good job constructing the piece. So props for that.

Grand sounding.
I found your track a bit too wide in the lower mids which I haven't noticed when using The Orchestra myself. Maybe you panned some things too much or didn't use a single room reverb to tie it all together? While their in-built reverb is nice it removes that sense of the parts being in the same space when there is one verb per instrument/part.
I bought it at half-price, just before they added the extra stuff. Not a bad buy but I still prefer synths. I have used it a bit, you hear it in Juno Jupiter Mission on my Missions album (here in the Cafe). This is one I did just to show off:

Really enjoyed the cue! And I think the orchestra sounds very good (Makes me wish I'd jumped on the recent sale). Curious to hear how it all stacks up, so will watch the video laterIngo Wegener wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:47 am Hi everyone, I wrote a short track using only Sonuscore’s „The Orchestra Complete“. The arrangement is interesting. The quality of the samples is not great. I thought of getting this too, but passed.

Good work !
The highend is a bit harsh and sounds metallic (esp. at the end) and the middle section of the orchestra "disappears" a bit too much.
That's a mix issue and a matter of balance.
The cymbal section of the percussion section is too loud at certain parts and the snare and bass drum a bit too quiet.
You'll get more impact on the percussion section by pushing the low and mid drums.
Just play around with the level balance (without touching the EQ etc.) and see if you'll reach a better orchestral balance.
Sometimes the levelling is all you have to do.
If this will not help, then next work the EQ and compression to the point it'll sound natural.
Keep it up !

Needs some more interesting motifs around 50 sec.-1 min.
Otherwise it has a nice build-up.
I do miss some more melodic lines though. Perhaps you can make it a bit longer, have some legato/slow movement, then build-up again.

Yeah , you’re right. First I thought it’s a great idea to give the spot to the strings. But with a little bit of space I totally agreemediumaevum wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:10 am Needs some more interesting motifs around 50 sec.-1 min.
