I still like their 'Some Cities' album. Don't know anything else of theirs, though

On your recommendation, I checked Youtube for some gigs. The whole bass situation freaked me out a little bit, at first. He's playing a right-handed bass, left-handed and upside-down

was some free afternoon party in manc city centre.
no manc swagger, just good tunes and looked like they where enjoying it as much as everyone else. which at that time was unusual as everyone wanted to be the gallaghers

Yeah! They definitely seem to have more of the chilled Manc vibe. Listening to them in interview reminds me a little of New Order'.vurt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 8:10 amfirst time, id never heard of them (knew subsub but didn't know there had been a split/change)el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 7:48 amOn your recommendation, I checked Youtube for some gigs. I remember seeing the video for 'Black and White Town' on some MTV (or similar), back in the day, and thought it was a stockin' track. After hearing 'Snowden', I had to buy the CD. Good album, on the whole. Not sure why I never followed them, after that
