VST that plays .wav files?

If you're after something that plays back existing files - that's already been answered in this thread, so nothing further really need be said. There are plenty of links here, although - as you've resurrected a 7 years old thread - some will be out of date.

If you're not after something covered in this thread, it's probably quicker to start a new one.

TX16Wx was covered previously in this thread, and can do real-time sampling, but is dependent on the DAW for this to work. I have tested it in Reaper and it works fine with that.

In other DAWs you can simply record to an audio track first, then drag the recorded audio clip into the sampler for processing and playback.
