Reason 11 comes in three flavors: Reason Intro ($/€79), Reason ($/€349) and Reason Suite ($/€549). You can upgrade from any previous version of Reason to Reason 11 for €/$129 or to Reason 11 Suite for €/$249.

The Rack VST is installed together with Reason (it's required), so I'm not sure how that fits into your "installation option like serum" expectation.

I was under the impression its $149 to upgrade to 11 from 1-10 and then a further $249 to upgrade to 11 Suite. Is this incorrect?

So, if I upgrade from 10 to 11 is $129 and if I decide to go to Suite 6 months down the line is $249 for a total of $378.

But if I go from 10 to 11 Suite at once, then is just $249....
A little twisted deal I think.

I believe he means paying it off in installments, like serum. I guess going from reason intro to reason full does count as two installments

I just saw the version that I get with my Korg controller is not Reason Intro as I thought but rather reason Lite which is not in the reason 11 line of products.. so I guess I am actually stuck with it... was so hoping to get the version to work with Bandlab Cakewalk that will be my Main DAW

I upgraded, I was on 9, so I bought the upgrade to 10 from Amazon UK for £89, on the box it also stated the free upgrade to 11 but it would be anyways as it's within the grace period, cheaper than upgrading from Reason Studios directly, for those that want to save a few quid.

Just reading about it, it seems there no MIDI out which is very disappointing, can't use the players properly, by being able to further modify once you print the notes onto another DAW.
