Hi,
Well I have a Roland SH2 and finally decided to hook it up to my DAW (ableton Live). I obviously need a CV/gate control.
I understand that, being it a roland, I need to choose "Volts per octave" (and not "Hz per volt") as well as "V-trig" and not "S-trig".
Is this correct?
What MIDI-CV/GATE box would you recommend:
Dark Link or MCV4 : http://www.doepfer.de/home_e.htm
Kenton Pro SOL MK3: https://kentonuk.com/product/pro-solo-mk3/
Will the KORG SQ-1 fit my needs ? From the panel it seems to be "Hz per Volt" ??

Only on the 8V setting:
Read on MW that the SH2 needs a 7.5V gate, SQ-1 delivers 10V, so that seems fine.CV OUT Voltage
1V, 2V, 5V (Oct) 8V (Hz/V)
