Just noodling, nothing serious, too much widdle.
Mixdown 1
Real amp - Laney LC30-II - Behringer XM8500 Ultravoice test, hanging in front of grill into GAP Pre 73 MKII.
Mixdown 2
Same guitar into an amp sim, rather bright.
This is a bit louder
Mixdown 3
Behringer XM8500 Ultravoice test, Yamaha FG-401 tuned down a tone.
Bass - Yamaha RBX 260 ceramic pickups replaced with Alnico V pole magnets.
Updated 29/8. Less wiggly wiggly. Reduced boominess
Embedded links won't play directly from this page, any help would be appreciated.

Some nice solid noodling going on there, should be easy to work something over the top of these. Nicely done and captured.

Just experimenting with mics and placement, proximity effect and on/off axis.
Trying to get productive.

Behringer C2, GAP Pre73 MKII and the odd squeak.
Mixdown 4
Taking the acoustic route till playability and setup on leccies gets sorted, not to mention more soldering required.

Electric guitar DI - Amplitube free - the default model amp.
Groove Monkee midi drums (too loud).

Couldn't resist a noodle tonight, drums not playing nice, they want to stick to the grid.
The grids got no soul.
Amplitube and Guitar Rig, found a dodgy cable.
Mixdown 10
All above was done using headphones.
Gotta get to grips with loudness matching.

Single cut guitar > Harley Benton/Joyo American Sound > Gap Pre 73 DI input on max.
Bass DI, Keys XLN.
Mixdown 11
Might have over done the reverb. Definitely over did the twiddly widdly.

Drum probs.
Single cut guitar, Harley Benton - American sound pedal for rhythm, Guitar Rig 4 essential for twiddle. All guitars & bass through Gap Pre 73MKII DI.
Mixdown 12
Maybe a tad too slow.

Thanks for the listen, I appreciate it, especially from someone whose music I enjoy listening to.donkey tugger wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 7:52 pm Noel?

It was just off the cuff.
I have trouble with midi drums, I have a habit of playing before the beat, not a fan of tweaking, especially midi drums. So, it seems like the drums are dragging.
I also have the misfortune of writing stuff suitable for outros and bridges, lacking in variation, while choruses and verses also elude me.
