So do any issues remain valid and something we need to explore of the stuff you guys mentioned, or was it just misunderstanding and/or translation of old project states (which might be unpredictable esp from 1.0 since there was no P-Link button in 1.0)?

Post

Just the one or two weird little things that happened when I first loaded the new betas.
This could just be from changing from beta1 to beta2 - but could you just check that pgup and pgdn work all the time - to select instances? If not - what do you have to do to make it start working? (I think you need to open the instance list once - so this may need to be documented)
Sorry if some of this applies to Breeze - but they are interconnected now ;)

It seems to look good now. Some issues I had earlier seem to have disappeared.
But I didn't have enough time yet to test it thoroughly.

Where can I download the plugin - I think that the site is a mess. Is the 2CAudio or Designersound, or what?
What is the exact download link to the existing users, for the download and for the account?
I can see only the plugin demo link, and if the demo is the same as the full version, it should be said clearly near the download link.

No, the link by the OP of this does not lead to the latest version, I can see now.
And the link
https://2caudio.com/support/updates
does not iclude the Precedence at all. What a mess!
Deverlopers, please have mercy and make your sites clear. Its very simple: to main site the user account link, and via that, the user could control all purchased downloads.

I noticed that, but the link didn’t work.
I had to reset the password.
Anyway, I wish mercy and better guidance by the developer.
Its easy to say, a minor thing, but the average end-user has to know 50+ developer download system, more clear systems help us avoiding time waste.

Key commands are variable depending on host and OS. Some hosts steel key commands, others don't. Denis can comment more about what he can or can't do in these areas. The general opinion is that it is too risky to try to intercept and override the key-command behavior in various hosts at the moment. I hope we will get to it in a future update.

Also, I just discovered that Selection Sync still seems to be case-sensitve. So while the Link-State is now case insensitive, Selection Sync is not. i.e Breeze Multi-Instnace Selection will not follow P, if the names do not have the same case. Perhaps that was the source of some confusion? I hope we will fix this and make Selection Sync case insensitive also.

In general, I would advise to copy/paste names from your DAW/Host tracks, renaming P and B at the same time. This is the fastest and safest way (less prone to error) to do it. and you can have spaces in names in all hosts this way as a bonus. ;-)

Hi Guys,

We have posted the release candidates for Precedence 1.5 and Breeze 2.5. Existing customers can find them here:

https://www.designersound.com/mydownloads

Changes since the last version:
  • Vastly less memory usage when using multiple/many instances.
  • Fixes for any/all remaining known issues with host stability in large, complex host sessions using many instances. We seem to be rock solid now in terms of stability for any size session even massive scoring projects with hundreds of instances. (This was the majority of the time spent -- there were one or two real head scratchers here the consumed lots of time!).
  • Increased custom menu sizes.
  • Correction to a minor "sub-optimal dsp design aspect" of Breeze which previously resulted in slightly more "mud" than is ideal in extreme modulation circumstances.
  • Additional performance gains of 15-20% on some CPUs.
There are no known issues remaining. This will be the official release version unless we hear about something we are not aware of within the next few days.

Still waiting for you to expose Angle within the list of automatable parameters as per the thorough discussion we had on this... quite bummed that this doesn't seem to make in into the update after all.

Just checking: there's currently no deal for Precendence if you already have breeze 2.*?

Just downloaded the demo for this. Is it a limitation of the demo that distance and angle are not automatable or is this the same in the full version also?

it's automatable in the full version ...
don't recall about the demo , however
as re: automation of distance and angle ;

these are not the droids you are looking for ...
( you won't care for the results ) ...

andrew has expounded at length as to why this is not feasible
w/ their particular approach ...
