I want to get a drum machine to go together with my Minilogue XD and Moog Sub37. I am looking for something that is easy to jam and play around with (not a lot of menu scrolling), and it should sound very good, preferably analog. Also, preferably cheap 300-600 usd.
What would you recommend?

Elektron has a little Model:Samples thing. Arturia has a couple in this range. The Korg Electribes are in the same range and remain capable, if that flow works. For somewhat less money, the recent IK sounds good, as does the Korg Volca Drum. There's actually a lot.
The Elektron would seem to be made for your purpose.

The Arturia DrumBrute and DrumBrute Impact are good options. Also, the Roland Boutique TR-08 (and TR-09 used) is another viable selection within your budget, if you enjoy the 808 sound and can deal with its small interface.
