I'm just wondering if they can do the MODO GUITAR, the final part of the 3 instruments? I'm sure that even the highest guitar string wouldn't come close to the complexity of a cymbal though, so I think they could easily pull off a guitar emulation.

Well BASS technically is the same as guitar just with lower registers so they obviously have the know how. MODO Bass's problem is the UI is limiting the Physical Model's expressiveness making it harder to control as fluid a real Bass.
Guitar requires proper chord strumming implementation which means even deeper control than bass. Apps like Realstrat 5 Elite and Acusticsamples Strategy seem to be doing it the right way.

We don't have specific news for any upcoming MODO products but we do plan to keep the line going as long as people are enjoying using them.
We did post a new video about the Mixer section and effects:

Not exactly mics where you can place them where you want, but I saw in another video there is a separate volume control for the top and bottom heads of each drum.

Great to see some examples of triggering Modo with a V-Drum.
I just purchased a TD-30KV kit (finally upgraded from my Alesis kit) and I can't wait to pair it with the Modo drums.

Yes, there were plenty of questions about e-drum support and you can see how MODO DRUM can easily be controlled and has support for x/y positioning and can provide quite a realistic performance.
Nice purchase, too, by the way. My lowly old TD-9KX kit hangs its head in shame.

the modeling of the positioning for the snare is impressive. the hihats are meh IMO.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.
