Exactly, it has really suffered by this pigeonholing as an 'aggressive' dubstep synth - it can do many types of sounds but what attracted me to it at first were the soundbanks by people like biomechanoid and later LIV that showed what a great pad/soundscape synth it was.

This, I was looking for a bog standard supersaw and the thickest lushest sounding one, I tried a few synths, but they werent quite cutting it, and I remembered Massive, and I rarely used it for that purpose, so I was interested to see how it went and WOW it was impressive. That's just the bare bones sound. Then you add in the modulations and effects, and the lightbulb went on in my head and I said, if this is that good, what will massive X be like ?

So I am really hopeful for this to be epic. I am going back to play with FM8 again, both synths have been pigeon holed by dub step, they are so much more than just that :)
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

Back before the early railway days, there was not a standard time...
to sync train arrivals with time the UK standardized time...
the French were most unhappy with GMT...
but I sure am happy we didn't have PMT!
